REDCINE & FCP / AVID [OFFLINE]

REDCINE & FCP (Offline) [double-system]

[Down-convert of 4K, 3K, 2K]



Steps of using REDCINE:

1) Open REDCINE


2) Choose the RED file in your folder


3) Put all clips into the Browser and SELECT ALL


4) Put all the clips into the NEW BIN, then Select all

5) Export Setting
(Click the "+" to add one new preset setting)
Name: RED FCP Offline
File Format: Quicktime,
SETUP: Compression type : APPLE PRO RES 422(HQ)
Frame Per sec: 25
Output Resolution: 1920x1080
******* Debayer Setting: 2K:FULL, 3K: FULL, 4K: FULL

Output Location: Output with Clip Filename to Selected Folder

AUDIO
Do not ENABLED the SOUND [for double-system]

Click OK


PIC REF:
set RED Offline Preset:


Select to QUICKTIME:


Set the Quicktime Setting:



Set the output Resolution to 1920x1080 :


Set the Debayer Settings:
[2K/3K/4K:FULL!!!]

[2K/3K/4K:FULL!!!]


Select Output with Clip Filename to Selected Folder:


Click to AUDIO part then DO NOT TICK enabled:
[for double-system]


6) Export: BIN Select Clips


7) Click Export, then select your output folder (Export to your own harddisk, don't change the name of the Quicktime file, the name should be same as the RED Footage)

8) Wait untill all clips are exported...




完成EXPORT後, 就可以Import Quicktime files 在FCP Offline edit了。
(FCP中可re-name 變成Scene/Shot/Take No.)

(Quicktime file in harddisk 不能改名!!!)

(RED Raw Footage 更加不能改名!!!)

Offline edit Start!
